Celebrate Recovery Australia is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
Celebrate Recovery leaders serve with humility, integrity, and grace, while also actively participating in their own recovery journey.
Leaders are expected to:
Continue in their own recovery and personal growth
Model Christ-like character, honesty, and healthy boundaries
Uphold Celebrate Recovery principles, guidelines, and confidentiality (Guideline #4)
Work in unity with local church leadership and the ministry team
Maintain appropriate, safe, and respectful relationships
Follow all safeguarding, child safety, and reporting policies
Encourage accountability and personal responsibility in others
Seek support and accountability when needed
Leaders serve as peers in recovery—not as counsellors or therapists (unless formally qualified).
Leadership may be reviewed where expectations are not upheld.
