Since starting in Saddleback in 1992, Celebrate Recovery has grown to be a vital part of the ministry of thousands of churches around the world, churches that have seen lives set free from addictive and compulsive behaviours as people find Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and work through the 12 steps of recovery and Celebrate Recovery’s 8 principles, based on the beatitudes to forgive wrongs make amends for wrongs they have done to others, and learn to live life in daily contact with their higher power Jesus Christ.
When preaching a sermon isn’t enough, the Celebrate Recovery program may be the answer for your church, to see lives set free from burdens of guilt and shame that cause members of your congregation and your community to be less than the effective Christians and leaders in your church than they could be.
